ICHG Winter Meeting 2010: Armed Conflict - protecting the health of mothers and children
Thursday 4 November, London
The aim of this meeting is to finalise and agree a proposed draft resolution on armed conflict and its effects on maternal and child healthcare, and the need for effective international health protection. The meeting is aimed at all health workers who want to learn more about the terrible effects of armed conflict on healthcare. Participants will help to act as advocates to influence the UN to provide greater protection for healthcare in conflict areas.

What works: The Evidence Base for International Child Health Interventions

The International Child Health Group, in partnership with the College of Medical and Dental Sciences, University of Birmingham, has developed an exciting programme that is essential for international child health clinicians, policy makers, donor organisations and charities, and all interested in the health of children worldwide.

The meeting is being preceded by a global email discussion on CHILD2015, with more than 1200 child health professionals worldwide, including the speakers. Together we are discussing the key themes of the meeting and preparing key questions to be discussed on the day.
